Overview

In Kenya, we help farming families get more out of their land and agricultural value chains, including horticulture, poultry and food staples like sorghum, green grams, soybeans, and beans. Our programs help farmers learn better ways to grow, process and store crops and, ultimately, increase the quantity and quality of their harvest. We partner with community groups to help them preserve and manage their natural resources in ways that improve their crop and livestock production. And we support farmer organizations to strengthen their technical and organizational capacities so that they can provide sustainable, equitable and quality services to their members.

Project’s Key Aim

Our programs in agriculture and food security, climate change adaptation and emergency response aim at breaking the cycle of poverty for rural communities who depend on farming for their livelihood.
